Safety signs

The safety signs remind us of the risks related to our work and help to prevent accidents. These symbols have standardized terminology and fall into these categories:
  • Warning: These signs are triangular and have a yellow background with a black pictogram. They indicate potentially dangerous situations that could permanently harm people.
  • Prohibition: These signs are round with a red outer ring and a white inner circle. The pictogram is usually black. They indicate things that should never be done.
  • Obligation: These signs are round and blue with a white pictogram. They indicate an obligation to comply with a certain action or rule.
  • Information: These signs are square or rectangular, and are blue with a white pictogram.
  • Emergency information: These signs are square or rectangular, with a green background and a white pictogram. They indicate emergency exits, first-aid stations, etc.
  • Danger: Black and red with the word 'Danger' and an inner white space where the type of risk may be described.
